[RC] Summer series ride directions correction - Ct region - Katrina Mosshammer
It was pointed out to me that there is a typo in
the directions for the Push WMA ride on Aug. 1. The flyer says
take Hwy 3 to Clayton but it should be Hwy
2.
So the correct directions are this:
DIRECTIONS:
(If coming from Antlers, take Hwy 2 instead of Hwy 271 to Clayton)
From
Clayton take Hwy 271 South out of Clayton. Approx 1.8 miles South of Clayton
turn Right on Game Refuge Rd. There is a big park sign that says ?Pushmataha
Wildlife Management Area?. Follow signs to camp. Once you turn onto Game Refuge
Rd., it is approx. 3 miles to camp. You will cross the bridge and turn left at
the junction. There are two very steep climbs coming into the park and
going up to the camp. The road is dirt but it is very good; just long and steep.
Once you start up the hill, DON?T STOP until you get to the top. Go past the
1st camping area and up the next hill. When you get to the top of the
second hill, you will see another camping area sign. Camp headquarters will be
at the top of the hill. Please call if you have any questions about the camp.
