Barbara, i use your quote and agree that at times
in a 100 its not fun and it hurts for days afterward sometimes.
But, there are magic moments during 100's that i
want on my tombstone.
"There is not a better high i have ever known than
a horse that wants to canter at 80 miles." ,,,,,,,,drugs, alcohol, sex,
money, whatever, are all included in my life experience.
I may never be able to ever do another 100 i don't
know, but magic moments like coming over the mountain in Colorado to the finish
of the ROC will be one of the finest memories i could ever imagine.
Memories like these are the things that keep us young as we grow older.
