Re: [RC] Hott Wash - grannynhorses

Hmmm... good question. However I've used it almost daily for 3
months on the original 2 batteries. It only sparks to light the
burner, and only burns while the water is running through the hose.
I use a pistol grip sprayer, so it works pretty efficiently, as far
as I can tell.

How can they call it "Eco" if it uses D cell batteries? Landfill
sounds more like it! ;-) Seriously, how many sets of batteries do

you go through on that a year? Is there an a/c option?

Instead of the Hott Wash, I bought-and LOVE the Ecotemp L5 water
heater. It has unlimited hot water and works perfectly for our
horses. Runs from a garden hose, portable gas tank, 2 "D"
batteries
and that's it! Cost less than $150.00

Can anyone familiar with hott washes tell me if the 4 gallon is
enough to
wash a horse or would it be better to go with the 8 gallon?
Thank you in advance.
