RE: [RC] Hott Wash - grannynhorses

I bought a 15' garden hose with a converter from my local hardware
store, to attach it to the outlet; and another converter to attach
the garden hose to the end of the shower hose it comes with.  That
way the hose goes from 3/4" to 1/2" and that increases the pressure,
as well as experimenting with the settings on the shower head. The
narrower spray setting worked well enough to get muddy legs clean. 
Also, when I was just using the hose with a regular garden sprayer, I
used a setting on the sprayer that provided more force-not all of my
sprayers had a good setting for it.

Also, what did you do about the short shower hose it comes with? I
couldn't find a fitting that would work for using a longer hose. So I
bought two of the 5' metal shower hoses to  make it long enough to
reach the horse, but it cost $85!

Instead of the Hott Wash, I bought-and LOVE the Ecotemp L5 water
heater.  It has unlimited hot water and works perfectly for our
horses.  Runs from a garden hose, portable gas tank, 2 "D"

batteries

and that's it! Cost less than $150.00

Can anyone familiar with hott washes tell me if the 4 gallon is
enough to
wash a horse or would it be better to go with the 8 gallon?
