'Fraid this one isn't too practical at an endurance ride - I don't see any RM providing separate drinking buckets for every horse at each water stop ! Kind of invalidates all of the other precautions, too....

Well ... I guess it would work if we used a previous idea on this list, and held all the rides on a flat, oval track so that each horse had its own pit area. :)
