[RC] Education - Juli Bechard

Wow.  I am really enjoying the reading on this list lately!  I have learned more reading the discussion between our three resident vets than I have in a long time.  I’m going to have to kick my vet here, and convince her I really do want to test for selenium.  Last time I asked about it, I got told that I live in Florida, assume our horses don’t get it from our local hay, and supplement.  Don’t bother with testing.  So…I think I really do want to test the boys.

Dr. Kellon, I sure hope you are planning on hanging around.  Between you and Dr. Garlinghouse, and Dr. Heidi, I’m getting quite the education.  Now, any one of you want to move to North Florida?  I could use a good vet who knows endurance horses!  I can guarantee at least three good clients.  We have eight horses between the three of us!

Alpine (who still has a lame stifle, and has been body clipped because it’s hot here.  He’s quite annoyed with me right now)

Merlin (who is currently going through the terrible two year olds.)
