RE: [RC] Good Winter Riding Boots - heidi larson

Don't get me wrong, they aren't uncomfortable, but they don't hold up where the boot part and the leg part meet.  The glue comes out if you walk in them too much.  My daughter used hers to muck stalls and they've come apart twice (I've reglued) and it's from how the boots "bend" when you're walking vs. feet in stirrups.

You know, I've always wondered about those! They look comfy. But if I
was on an e-ride and ended up on the ground, I'd better have something
good for walking too, cuz the likelyhood of my mare taking off is pretty
high. Lol Thanks, Heidi.

My daughter and I purchased the Muck Boot Brit Rider, warm, toasty and
waterproof! Not good for walking, but excellent for riding.

Can anyone give me an opinion on winter riding boots for warmth,
comfort
and suitability for long distance riding? Actually, they don't
HAVE to
be specific for riding, but warm, waterproof and comfortable
enough to
ride in all day would be good. What about Mountain Horse boots?
Keen
winter boots look interesting, but they aren't really for
riding. You
can email me privately if you want (so as not to clog up RC).
Thanks!
