Ha, ha! Arena footing is a whole 'nuther topic!
Only half of ours is usable now, which is just enough for lunge-line distance and between the light of the moon, and the street lights, I can practice getting him to move his front feet away from me, which believe it or not, is one of the exercises to establish superiority, as well as leadership (two different things in his book).

What?  You have a usable arena?  The only thing ours is good for is a mud bath!
