Re: [RC] Desperate Times for Horse Owners and for Horses - Jill CohnThanks, Ranelle. When you say "watch the Growers' sites" I'm not aware of them. Where are they? Just google NorCal Hay Growers? Thanks for your great tips: that's the problem with most of these "give aways" people are getting more desperate and unable to feed their families so horses seem like an unendurable, exquisite luxury. My intention was certainly not to anger people by reporting the facts. Everyone's situation is different and I feel compassion for those who are unable to feed their beloved horses. Just because they don't have money to care for them any longer doesn't mean they are bad people. They just feel they've run out of resource. If you have a Horse Rescue that's taking in horses others can't afford to keep I"d recommend running a free ad on www.bayequest.com so that owners can have the benefit of your Rescue. Thanks for doing that! On Sun, Dec 14, 2008 at 5:49 PM, Carrie Kitley <nutzo4horses@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
