Re: [RC] English Endurance Saddle Stirrups - Jody Rogers-Buttram

Ask Bonnie Angie.  I bought that second pair of them at Skymont remember, and she used them on "Princess", Storme in the LD ride.  I was riding the other new pair of them on the bucking Squirrel that day.  I haven't had a problem with them at all....I really liked them.

Mine got mashed like that and my farrier just beat it back out & reshaped
it on his anvil. I kept expecting it to break but it's lasted another 10
years or so. The sides of my stirrups have slowly gotten a polished knifelike
edge from rubbing against my half chaps. I should probably file that flat before
it cuts my leg off but it's so smooth and pretty. :-)

Do the plastic stirrups have enough weight to them to be able to easily reach
down and grab them with your toe? I've heard they're wider and
considered going plastic eventually for that reason.
