[RC] saddles that fit a variety of backs - Laney Humphrey

We are really lucky right now that there are so many types of saddles to choose from. I'll add another to the list of saddles with trees that are adjustable: Specialized. For most horses, the fitting process is simple and within anyone's ability. Hard to fit horses might require a bit of guidance to get the fit right. This is widely available both through company representatives/fitters or via the web. The saddles are reasonably priced and sturdy. I've ridden mine hard for 3 years and it still looks just fine. And, as an added bonus, if the saddle is used on more than one horse with different shaped backs, each horse can have it's own panel/shims which is easily put on the saddle. And, there are "western" and "english" models to choose from.
