And that’s a good option, IMHO. Many horse owners are
finding it financially impossible to keep their horses and the market is
dismal. Try selling or even giving away a 20 yr old, hard to keep, not well
trained, hasn’t been ridden for 7 yrs since the kids quit riding, that’s
now arthritic and needs senior feed. The Oroville rescue will try to find homes
for horses that are adoptable. The others will be humanely euthanized instead
of making the trip to Mexico.
