[RC] Petting a Skunk ~ Now Hanta Virus....sorta - Diana Hiiesalu

My mother-in-law survived Hantavirus when she was in her sixties (21 days in the hospital), then a roll-over 6 times in the middle of the desert in a truck driving 65 mph (she was around 72 yrs old & alone), had numerous broken ribs, a punctured lung because of it and then refused the ambulance ride and waited for my father-in-law to come and pick her up. Then her #1 son (my husband) was killed on duty (sheriff) 2 1/2 yrs ago (this I thought would kill her). Last year she had her spleen removed because of lymphoma and the doctors see no reason to give her chemo or radiation.......I'm beginning to think nothing is going to kill her. She's tough and mean.
