[RC] wrinkled elbows, Help! - CK

While I washed my usual girth, dressage fleece, I rode with a Prof. Choice
Girth, neo.with a synthetic fleece cover over it. I also used a different
breast plate as I was cleaning all my regular tack. Anyhow, I noticed some
flaking skin like dandruff at the girth line and also a bug bite looking thing
on one side. I think the breast
plate pulled the girth too close to his elbows. We were riding in the mtns. I
have been conditioning him since Feb. so he is used to a girth. I also pull his
legs forward to decreaseskin rubbing. Now he has saggy wrinkled elbows and heat
in the area.
I have a ride coming up soon! Any ideas for treatment? Also what to use that is
legal in that area to prevent more damage? My regular girth doesn't come into
the elbow area. By the way, he is a Walking Horse. thank you.
