Re: [RC] trailer tire pressure - Sisu West Ranch

The maximum rating that is available on tires depends upon the size of the tire. The larger truck etc. sizes go higher than E. I used E as the highest because when I replaced my LQ tires, this was the highest available in my area. One maker made an F in my size. A properly inflated E was well within the load rating of my trailer.

My tag a long 16" stock trailer gets along fine with D. It is not a mystery. You just have to figure out the weight on each tire (a trip to a pay scale fully loaded if really confused) and make sure the rating is enough.
