Re: [RC] gait anomoly noticed any ideas? - Sisu West Ranch

"...that little twist of the right hind before ..."

Ranger does that with both rears all of the time. Wears his shoes out fast. I have to armor plate the shoes to get decent wear.

My farrier's advice was not to try and fix. The fix would be OK for a show horse, but would/could lead to strain and thus lameness. He has never shown any lameness issues from this "fault"

Please everyone note: I am convinced that this is some sort of a conformation problem but, he is a gelding and will not pass it on and his other good points outweigh this problem. Besides he is my horse and has a lifetime home at Sisu West.
