Just wanted to thank all those who wrote in about their various fly repellent 
recipes.  Thank you so much!!  I especially enjoyed the "road kill" recipe.

I've read that garlic can increase a horse's temp, therefore wasn't recommended 
for endurance horses.

Just another idea. I feed my horses everyday a product(several brand names) 
that has garlic and brewers yeast. I do not have to spray anywhere as often. I 
have used it for decades. I also give it to my dog for fleas and ticks. My 
ferrier asked one day why is it that my horses smell like pizza LOL It does 
help a lot and they love the taste.
