Re: [RC] RO Lame - mary orosz

JMO, but the whole thing could be solved by just making the RO-L or RO-M information only available to the AERC for their ride information.    Just list all types of RO's in one lump for public knowledge, as long as an RO means that the vet said they were fit to continue.  That way no one could ever look at it as a negative.   For example, say you are at a ride that was promoted as not being rocky or others had said was not rocky.  You brought your barefoot horse and no boots, thinking there would be no problem.  By the time the first vet check comes around, you decide you do not want to risk lameness from all the sharp big stones/rocks.  You are found fit to continue, but you do not want to.  So when AERC (or whoever they are gathering the information for - not the public)  looking at the ride information they can see what they need to see. Just take what people consider the negative aspect of RO away and there shouldn't be a problem.
