[RC] GPS 205/305 - terre

So don't give me any technical answers, just whether the freaking 205/305 can get me out of a forest or if it really is just to rate speed/distance etc....

THANKS!!
Chrystal :-)

Probably. Almost certainly. Your hubby is partially correct in that the last generation of gps's (201/301) were lousy at getting signals in dense woods. I did a whole 50 mile ride that gps'd at 4 miles!!!--and that was the gravel road. My friend riding with a 205 got the whole trail. I use a 205 now and rarely 'drop' a signal, even riding that same trail.

If it can't get a satellite signal, it can't give you speed/distance either.
Can you borrow one to test?
