I managed a 25/50/100 mile ride for several years. We would have our big meal Friday night before the ride, have individual award meetings for the 25/50 distances l/2 hr. after the last horse was in for that distance, and would have an award meeting and light breakfast the following morning for the 100's. We also provided soup/chili, etc. for the 100's at the later vet checks.
