I am getting plenty of adrenaline from LSD work in my neighborhood of heavy traffic, barking dogs, neon-clad lycra-butt biker packs, etc. The tennis court with the gunshot-like-ball-serving machine, which you ride past on the sidewalk next to the 40 mph traffic, that is a total rush... :-P There is about a mile of Pure Hell before we actually hit the trails around here, if one doesn't have a trailer or a hard-to-acquire key to the back gate off the property. And I haven't even had to deal with the swimming pool yet-- I've heard that one has horses really wigging out when it's full of screaming, splashing kids. It's next to the tennis court, on that hellish road.
Now, just the endorphin-rush of keeping pace over many miles of "normal" trail, that is not adrenaline but it is wonderful. I am a total addict.
