sigh! Why does everyone these days think they should be "given" a
chance to "win"? How about earning it? I know what my horses and I do, and if we
never cross the line first it won't stop my enjoyment of my rocker someday on my
front porch. Wonder if this kind of attitude is part of the recent thrust toward
giving every kid on a team a trophy - and not keeping score - so everyone feels
like a "winner". Must be. To finish IS to win in this sport.
