RE: [RC] Haf Pad problem - Karen Standefer

I've had 4 HAF pads that I've used since 2004 and never a problem. Sorry
for your troubles. Did you talk to Candy at Action Rider?

Subject: [RC] Haf Pad problem

I bought a Haf pad about a year ago. I used it yesterday on a 15 mile
ride
with my horse. When we were done I looked her over and noticed she had
a
rub mark on her back where the pad goes about the size of the quarter.
It
had rubbed the hair right off. I knew that I had washed the pad the day
before (just hosed it off). I had also brushed my horse pretty well and
she wasn't dirty. So I looked at the underneath side of the pad. I
found a
quarter size spot on it where the underneath bubbles are missing. It's
near the back and very center of the pad. I can't imagine how it
happened.
I thought I had been taking pretty good care of it. I called the lady
who
I bought it from and she had me call someone else, who she got it from.
And I haven't heard back from her yet. (I bought it new, but am not
going
to mention where-doesn't really matter anyway since they all come from
Italy, I think). The first lady I talked to said most people have never
had a problem but she did have a complaint from one other person that
had
a problem similar to mine. I don't really see how I can repair it
either.
I hope they have some kind of warranty or something. Or else there goes
$185 out the window!

Has anyone had that happen to them?
