[RC] Thank you Tom Sites & Pauletta - Diane Fruth

Hi,
On our way back from the American Horse Council Convention in Washington, DC, we stopped to put a marker on ABBA PEAVINE'S aka "RED's" grave in Broadway, Virginia.

Two years ago(May 2006), Jerry, his friends Albert Umbach & Jim Barnett were camped out in Broadway, Virginia.

Red passed away on the trail, this was very hard for Jerry, he had owned Red since he was 3, he was 19 when he passed.
Everyone was so wonderful they really helped Jerry with the burial and his pain.

Thank you Pauletta for allowing Jerry to bury his horse on your property. Thank you for helping plant the flowers Tom brought.

Thank you to Tom Sites for the wonderful display of Peonies, Spira bush, mulch, compost manure,etc...
Tom built a beautiful horse shoe with the flowers, and "RED'S" marker was put near his head.

We have some wonderful memories of that BIG Crazy 16'2 Beautiful RED /Chestnut Half Arab/Half Saddlebred.

As Jerry always said he was a HOOT to ride! He scared me to death flying down the hills:)
He loved his trail, and is buried in a beautiful setting in Virginia.

Have a great day, go give your horses a hug!
~Diane Fruth
