[RC] trailer ground clearance - Nancy

Dear Adam,

Yes, several of my neighbors have had big problem with low trailer ground clearance.  I was told the low trailers were to keep the trailer center of gravity low and thus was considered a safety issue.  One neighbor tore all the lines from the bottom of her brand new living quarters as she pulled into her street coming home from the dealer. It was a mess and took forever to get fixed.  Another neighbor took her new horse trailer directly to a trailer welding shop and had the brand new 2 horse trailer lifted.  They had not had any problems with it.

If I had a low clearance trailer I would have it lifted by a reputable shop.  This all seems so crazy!  I hope this helps,

Nancy Reed

We just got our "new to us" LQ trailer home but are very concerned about the clearance of the waste water lines

Thanks, Adam
