I am fortunate to have USAA insurance,
and they have bailed me and my big horse trailer out several times now. I
dropped AAA when I had a tire blowout on my trailer, on an overpass in El Paso,
during rush hour traffic. I called AAA for help, and they said there
wasn't anything they could do for me, but they would be happy to send someone
out to assess my situation! Like I couldn't figure out what was
wrong!??! I told them they could take their assessment of my situation and
their membership (I did have the RV coverage) and shove them where the sun
doesn't shine! I called USAA and they solved the problem immediatly.
Just my personal experience!

Some of
their offerings, like banking, are open to the general public. I
would call and ask about towing 1.800.531.USAA.
I have a USAA towing on my commuter cars. I inquired
about their towing coverage on trucks and horse trailers. They said
they offered it. I opted to go with US Rider instead because
they coorindate stabling if you need it.
