Regarding the question about experience abrasions from rubbing when riding -
I have a similar problem when I ride in my leather english saddle. Don't have a problem in my wintec synthetic or my fleece covered endurance saddle. Is the person with the problem riding in a leather saddle? that might be something to think about...
