Re: [RC] Eventing deaths - Quentin & Libby Llop

I have actively participated in both eventing and endurance. At competitions that I personally attended more horses died at events. Ironically most of them "dropped dead" on course and the one endurance ride that I was present when a horse died it was from running through a solid fence. That said I have seen many many more horses die at steeplechase races and some at the flat track.
I have known more riders that died eventing and the injured rider in Florida is one of our locals. Libby
