One R&T team nearly killed our best horse because they were so focused on winning that they forgot to water him on the trail and wouldn't take the time in the VC to water him there, either.We let one foreign rider use my best horse and he rode the horse to win. It never occurred to me that a person would ride another person's horse with the intent of trying to win over others who were riding their own horses and knew them intimately. We let another foreign rider use my husband's best horse and the horse sustained such massive damage to his splint that he was never completely sound again. I'm not that keen about letting someone else use our horses for championship races anymore.
