Hi! This is what most Americans are all about. We love our animals, always 
for the underdog and will literally give the shirts off our backs to one 
that needs it most. Most of our endurance riders are representive of this 
statement. I'm proud that this Country is my home and that I don't have that 
do or die attitude. We can just love and enjoy our horses. How great is 
that? I would like to believe that those that inspire to (greater heights) 
still have enough Americanism bred into them that they will shed a tear if 
they overstep the boundaries and endanger their animal. Like Barbara said, 
she thought it would be fun to intermingle with riders from other countries 
and it could be and should be. There is always a spoiler and that's exactly 
what happened. We don't have to be part of it. REMEMBER WE CAN PICK AND 
CHOOSE OUR OWN RIDES! Americans have always marched to their own drummer.
