My thoughts exactly; at the end of the day, it's much more important to go
home uninjured than put yourself or your horse in position where injury from
another's horse may happen. But riders should also do their "homework"
riding with groups and schooling their horses to be well-behaved and
mannerly. If a rider knows their horse has issues behaving in a group
situation then they have no business taking their horse into that type situation
at a competition until it's resolved.
