Re: [RC] Question for Older Riders - susan cooper

Thanks for the advice, Dr.Q! I went to the Core
Products website and ordered both of the topicals you
recomended. I figure I can use them, as well, as when
I first get off, I am fairly crippled for about 100
feet. Luckily we ride gaited, so that helps, but both
my 1/2 Arab 1/2 TWH mare and now my Icelandic gelding
both trot - which actually helps MY knees to post.
Mom has a Spotted Saddle horse, and rides with her
legs stuck out which looks really wierd from behind,
but at least she rides and is interested in doing some
LD's. I told her if she is really, really bad at the
halfway mark vet check, she can always quit and they
can get her and her horse back to camp. Mom is pretty
stubborn, tho, and has a natural tendancy to comptete
against me, so I don't think quit is in her.
Therefore, I want to make sure she isn't too miserable
so she will continue to do a few LD's. A nice, easy
ride is perfect for my up and coming Icelandic, as
well. He will have to take up the allotted time as he
doesn't recover as quickly as my 1/2 Arab, and
probably never will.

Do you know if the DMSO is compatible with the other
topicals I ordered from Core Products? Or is it
either/or?

Oh, and the check's in the mail!
