I would like to ask people if feeding the horse on the ground
with out a pan is a bad thing and why?
I live in Texas and we are on sand, usually covered with grass. Our
horses have eaten their hay on the ground for over 20 years and I've
never had a case of sand colic. In fact, no colic ever. Knock on wood
real fast.
