[RC] One rein stop vs Cavalry stop - sherman

Maybe I‘m doing the one-rein stop wrong, but I don’t get any spin once they learn it, only initially, while teaching it. After they know it, when I apply pressure on the one side, they stop without any spin. I think they understand that I want them to be still because I’m not using any leg on them. Because I usually ride with a snaffle or halter, I use one rein to slow my horse, also, just a little tip of the wrist gives the signal to slow up a bit, that is, as long as the horse is listening (:>)

I like the fact that I can use a very light hand to stop or rate them, and I don't have to spin them, as in a one rein stop
