You might want to search the archives on this topic as there has been lots
of discussion in the past particularly from Susan Garlinghouse, who seems
to have disappeared from ride camp  :  (     My mare has allergies to lots
of pollens and insects and I believe it helps her quite a bit.   Not only
that but boy does it give her coat a shine.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom.
