[RC] warm water - Kearby, Kate G Civ 748 CBSG/IS

55 degree water out of the well is warm compared to air temp, it doesn’t have to be ‘HOT’ not even warm to the touch so far as your hand is concerned.  To a  horse water warmer than the air is great and they will drink more.  Even toping off the buckets in the barn after removing the crust of ice with a small bucket of hot water from the house makes is warm for a long time.  They have one tank with the heater outside and get warmed buckets in the barn, they drink nearly a bucket overnight and the 4 horses nearly empty the tank every other day.
