It has helped to provide some good insight and understanding in the feeding process in general. On my last training ride, my ride partner commented, after we got back to the trailer, and my mare pooped. "My God, I can't believe that mare still has any left in her after all that she left out there on the trail!" I doubt that she eliminated 150 pounds worth but how would I know. What it does tell me she barely wanted to eat. Even after finishing 10 miles. So, as I work her miles up it will be interesting to see at what mileage she decides to dive into the food. :) D'Arcy L.
