Re: [RC] HRM Electroyde Slipping - Glenda SnodgrassThe Polar website now has instructions for endurance riders that recommends placing both electrodes on the near-side girth, none at all under the pad. See http://www.heartmonitors.com/horse/setting_polar_transmitter.htmI put one on the billet strap above the girth buckle, and one in the usual spot on the girth, and it seems to work fine. I think this is a better solution for the new larger electrodes which always worried me under the saddle pad. Glenda R. My HRM is a Polar with the bigger electrode surface and I am wondering if a person could cut out an area on their pad to kind of recess it in a little bit ? This same HRM is no problem on my other horse but this horse is really sensitive , my saddle fits very well on him although when I ride with a looser cinch the electrode moves quite allot and I am constantly having to replace it under the saddle . I believe the V-Max has the smaller electrodes and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with them slipping around on them ? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
