[RC] Shocktamer pads-concussion - Sheila_Larsen

I have done some looking into pads and imo these are the best for
concussion. I got the rim pads and really liked them. However, if you use
them make sure you follow the instructions because my farrier wanted to put
them on upside down because she always puts the smooth side against the
hoof (or something like that) and she said she didn't like the pads because
another client had had trouble with them. Well I don't know about the
other client but these went on correctly and after two shoeings are still
good (albeit not a huge about of riding). So my vote is to look at the
shock tamers. I beleive there is a pad out there with gel or something,
but two farriers (not mine) said that they didn't work well. On paper they
had seemed like a good idea.

So my vote is for you to look into the shock tamers.
Thanks,
Sheila
