[RC] How We Reason and Argue and Navajo Lady - Bruce WearyI thought of another one to add to the list of "faulty thinking and reasoning traps."The old, "Snipe from the Peanut Gallery" method. I'm relieved that we haven't seen it here on RC, but it essentially consists of singular comments directed at the ongoing discussion, but not adding to it. It is usually cloaked in a veil of sarcasm to imply disagreement with the discussion or particular comment, but without the effort put forth to clarify their opposing view. Let's continue to keep this a "No Snipe Zone." Incidentally, I apologize for not producing current photos of Navajo Lady, for those of you who have been asking. I drove by her barn yesterday and she looks "mahvelous!" I will try to get some shots this week and post them. I rode in 27 degree weather today. Time for a hot bath and a little cocoa.
