Actually, the type of elytes I give my horse are Dynamite Dyna-Spark. He 
will lick it out of my hand. I personally choose to give him half doses or 
smaller all day long, often squirted on a carrot. It is a liquid and the 
phosphorus source happens to be molasses..:) I can squirt it into my scoop, 
and fill with water as I carry a travel size squeeze bottle on my saddle. I 
use it all day in very small amounts whenever I feel my horse is ready 
for/needs any. I also have some mixed with applesauce in a sport bottle on 
my saddle. My horse will turn his head and drink it from the bottle. I 
actually had to find one he couldn't bite! He likes it that much.
