 I like knowing that people are being taught Safer, ways to 
be> a partner with a horse, 

Again, I'll say I agree with much of what they do, but his comment:

"It's what you put in your head, not on it that keeps you safe" 

is a direct dig at helmet wearers...and I saw people at his
clinics...many who were beginners who had been sold TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE
horses who could have used the helmet even on the ground.  I felt for the
instructors trying to teach basic skills to beginners who had the WRONG,
WRONG, WRONG horses. They ought to just start a horse store and sell the
horse along with the rest of the gear and save some of these poor
people's lives... not to mention give themselves a reasonable job to do
in getting these people started.
