I?m not electrolyting, as I think they should be smart enough to 
self-electrolyte when not at a ride, and I think they?re doing that.  
They?ve gone through about ¾ of 2 of the little salt blocks in 1 >>>>week. 

This is something I can't figure out. I don't remember the last time I bought a 
salt block. I have 4 horses in the humidity. There's a salt block that's 
probably at least 2 years old that's about 3/4 gone. I don't electrolyte at 
home. My guys are drinking well. Had to double up on the water buckets today. 
Yesterday is the first time I've seen them drink it all and need more. I never 
see them "hit the salt block" after a long ride. I've tried putting loose salt 
out for them and they never seem to give it a second glance. Meanwhile my dog 
wants to lick the salt off my whole arm!
