[RC] Tevis Trail - Sue Walz

No argument. The Western States Trail has always had precarious narrow trails. 18" with a sheer drop off at points! You can be sure I will never take a spooky, flighty horse on that trail. Raven is bomb proof & point & shoot.
As far as our riding into Francisco's after hearing distant cries for help behind us on a precarious single track trail in the dark, we were the first riders in to tell those that could truly help Roger. There was no question in my mind what the best course of action was in that situation. I believe our running for help was the best course. If I were right there when it happened my decision would have been to stay & help. We were far ahead when the cries for help came.
