Re: [RC] Foot Pain - Sisu West RanchPersonal observation:*Some folk put to much pressure on the balls of their feet when they ride. I had some foot pain until I messed up my knee. Since this was before arthroscopic surgery, I did tons of PT for 4-5 years. Because I had to ride with minimal strain on knees, I learned to be light in the stirrups. Foot pain went away and has stayed away. I would guess that an equitation instructor who could teach a person to ride lightly, probably by training without stirrups, would accomplish the same thing even better than my self taught equitation. Sometime if you supply a campfire and a case of Moose Drool, I may explain my fear of athletic coaches/trainers. Ed *Usual disclaimers apply. Do not try this at home.
