[RC] Rectal Hydration Therapy (was: Big Horn Death) - k s swigart

Can someone fill me in on what this means ? I have not
heard of this type of treatment before .


My guess is that she shoved a hose up the horse's ass.  I have only
heard of it on one other occasion.  On the last day at Death Valley in
2000 (I think, it may have been 2001), a rider did this to a horse just
after the finish.  It was a subject of a protest.

However, it is just a guess.
