There is a way to unmark request for acknowledgement of
e-mails. I use Outlook Express, so if the sender also uses it, or
perhaps just Outlook, go to Tools - Options - Receipts and uncheck the box that
request a receipt for every e-mail the person sends. Those who use a
different program to handle e-mail should be able to find a similar option in
their program, as well.
Holy cow, whoever sends their emails to RC with
that note that they want an acknowledgment of receipt has just totally screwed
up my computer. I had to shut it down. That always causes me a
problem. Is that really necessary or is there a way to not have your
emails marked that way? Please!
