[RC] Advice on interference boots - Cynthia LeDoux

Kosmos occasionally interferes in the front, banging the front legs on one
another midway down on the inside of the cannon bones. I have used
neoprene boots, but they rubbed him raw in small areas on the inside of
his pasterns at the Patriot 100 last month. Didn't use them at Cooley and
he interfered and we were pulled for lameness. The boots appear to fit
well, but rub. Do you think it's an allergy to neoprene? Heat? Salty
sweat? The combo?
Anyone have experience trimming the neoprene? Any other ideas and/or
products?
