[RC] High liver enzymes/Purina Race Ready - Kristi SchaafI saw this on another chat list and thought some of you might be interested...it's a post by a biochemist who runs an equine customized supplement company. She may be off tartet, OR she just may be on to something... ___________________________________ In the past 2 mos, I have had no less than 32 inquiries from owners of horses with suddenly high liver enzymes and liver disease. All had been feeding conventional horse feed, and most were race horses fed Race Ready by Purina. If you are having any ill heath symptoms, I suggest you get a liver profile and check, no matter what feed you are on. I would not be surprised if the pet food contamination also includes horse feed and the horses do not suddenly die because they are not totally dependent on the contaminated feeds for their daily nutrition because of hay and grazing. If you do get a liver panel done, please save some of the old feed to send to FDA for testing if your test comes back indicating liver issues. Kristi Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for earth-friendly autos?
