[RC] Fort Howes - Jan and Bill Stevens

Everyone-
The rigs are busy pulling in and parking...From nearly 5 inches of rain between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to beautiful sun-filled morning we are going to be blessed with wonderful weather this weekend. Forecast is calling for 75 today, 80 tomorrow and 85 on Sunday with a 10 percent chance of rain everyday. Bill isn't having to haul much water out on trail this year because we actually have an abudance of natural water near the trails - filling reservoirs that we haven't had water in for years. Riders may find their horses going slow, not because of bad trails, but because of the forage growing along the trails - horses will certainly be happy! Footing should be good to great with no fear of a dusty trail.

Current entries number for the 35 mile LD at 25 and for the 50 mile 43 on Saturday. Sunday we're seeing 25 for the 55 and 45 in the 100.

So have no fear, Fort Howes may have received an Ark full of rain, but things are drying out fast and it promises to be a great weekend.

Bill and Jan Stevens
